David Oyelowo has Three Seconds

“Selma” star David Oyelowo has joined the cast of “Three Seconds”, for director Otto Bathurst, Deadline reports.

Luke Evans (“The Hobbit : The Battle of the Five Armies”, “Fast & Furious 6”) is already onboard the movie, which is based on the best-selling book by Anders Roslund and Borge Hellstrom.

Three Seconds follows the story of a man forced undercover in prison as part of a FBI operation, who then has to escape on his own after he is abandoned during the mission.

Oyelowo will play ”Detective Lt. Edward Grens, an anti-social NYPD detective who quickly begins unravelling the FBI’s operation after the murder of a fellow officer.”

Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk and Shine Pictures’ Ollie Madden are producing with Kevin Frakes and Raj Singh of PalmStar Media financing.
