Gens, Gibson team for Little Mizz Innocent

Xavier Gens (“Hitman”) will direct Tyrese Gibson in action thriller “Little Mizz Innocent,” set to shoot in Canada, France and China starting in September, says Variety.

Co-starring Christopher Plummer, the 3D picture is said to be a female Jason Bourne or James Bond movie, and involves a “seemingly innocent United Nations interpreter who is caught between the FBI and a criminal dynasty.”

Gino McKoy wrote the script for the film, which begins shooting in September.

Olga Kurylenko (“Oblivion”) was set for the film but had to pull out due to the [Chinese] producers desire to cast a Chinese leading lady in the film.

“We are still looking to have Olga involved in a sequel,” said All Rights’ chief Aymeric Contat-Desfontaines.

“The challenge I have set myself is to make a film that reflects our Little Mizz, and which is elegant but brutal,” Gens told Variety. “I’d like to reflect some of the energy of ‘The Raid’ in a movie that is still character-driven.”
