Fresh from “Suicide Squad”, Will Smith is circling “Coverall Beauty”, the Alfonso Gomez-Rejon directed pic that Hugh Jackman recently exited.
Smith would play a a New York advertising exec who experiences a deep personal tragedy. His colleagues devise an unconventional plan to break him out of his depression — which works — but not in a way that anyone imagined.
Rooney Mara is already onboard.
Allan Loeb (“Wall Street : Money Never Sleeps”) wrote the script for the film, which Smith’s Overbook Entertainment would produce.
