Divergent scribe to write Tomb Raider reboot

“Snow White and the Huntsman” and “Divergent” screenwriter Evan Daugherty has been tapped to pen Warner Bro’ “Tomb Raider” film reboot.

Warners Bros will partner with MGM and Graham King on the project.

It is said the reboot will follow a younger Lara Croft as she embarks on her first adventure.

Originally a game released in 1996, the “Tomb Raider” reboot follows two previous films, released in 2001 and 2003, which starred Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft.

Deadline first reported the news.
