Doug Liman is set to direct “Dark Universe” – aka “Justice League Dark” – for Warner Bros and DC, reports Variety.
The outlet is also reporting Liman has exited Channing Tatum starer “Gambit” in a “mutual split” with the studio.
We don’t have many “Dark Universe” plot details yet, but we do know the film will centre on a dark Justice League team that consists of John Constantine, Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna and Etrigan the Demon.
Scott Rudin is producing. Michael Gilio is writing the script.
The ensemble film is said to play a major role in the DC Cinematic Universe.
