“Nashville” is set to makes its season five debut with a two-hour premiere on January 5 at 9PM ET/PT on CMT. Episodes will become available to stream on Hulu the day after they air on CMT.
However as the show’s return date is announced, EW has published a story suggesting star Connie Britton is teeing up an exit from the show.
The outlet reports Britton is only attached to appear in 10 of the 22 episodes in the upcoming season, though the deal is apparently not yet final and the hope is to get her on board for more.
Co-star Hayden Panettiere is reportedly signed on for all 22 eps, while Rayna Jaymes is likely to leave the show this season.
