“Cabin in the Woods” director Drew Goddard looks set to direct “Amazing Spider-Man” spin-off, “Sinister Six”.
Goddard, who got his break on TVs “Buffy, the Vampire Slayer”, also wrote the script for the film – which fixes on the bad guys from the ‘Spider-Man’ movies.
Doctor Octopus, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, Sandman and The Vulture were the original Sinister Six. Since he has his own spin-off coming, it’s unlikely Venom will be a part of the film.
“The Amazing Spider-Man 2”, which will introduce a couple of these characters, is in theaters in Australia in May and the U.S in June.
