Emma Watson will star in actioner “Colonia”, Deadline reports.
From Oscar-winning German director Florian Gallenberger, “Colonia” will see Watson play a young woman whose husband (Daniel Bruhl) is abducted by Pinochet’s secret police during the 1973 Chilean military coup d’état. In order to rescue him, she joins a dangerous cult in the sealed-off Colonia Dignidad area.
Torsten Wenzel co-wrote the film with Gallenberger.
