Looks like the "Enterprise" is headed for a mountain, and darn if it don’t crash.
According to a scooper for IESB, quoting star Scott Bakula’s publicist, Jay Schwartz, the actor wants this season of the ‘Star Trek’ series to be his last. Hes apparently lost faith in the troubled series, whose ratings have been dire than straits, with his passion for it left-behind at the last Space Dock.
There’s speculation that Bakula might be eyeing an out so he can jump aboard the retool of TV’s "Quantum Leap", which is gunning to start shortly. Bakula’s always been keen to wear time-travelling Sam’s socks again so don’t be surprised if he does indeed leave the Enterprise crew behind for some portal jumping with Al.
With the new "Trek" movie indefinitely on-hold and "Enterprise" not looking too long for this world, it’s a sad time for Trekkies. Watch this space…
