Eraser sequel in the works; Sherwood not Schwarzenegger stars

“Eraser Reborn” targeted for home ent bow in 2022

Dominic Sherwood (“Vampire Academy”, “Shadowhunters”) will star in a sequel to Arnold Schwarzenegger flick “Eraser”.

Said to be already in the can, “Eraser Reborn” was directed by John Pogue (“Deep Blue Sea 3″) for Warner Home Entertainment. Jacky Lai (”V-Wars”), McKinley Belcher III (”Ozark”) and Eddie Ramos (”Animal Kingdom”) are also in the flick, which is targeted for a 2022 release.

According to Deadline, “Eraser Reborn” will follow “U.S. Marshal Mason Pollard who specializes in engineering the fake deaths of witnesses that need to leave no trace of their existence.” Sherwood plays Pollard.

The project quickly follows the recently-announced TV spin-off of another Arnold Schwarzenegger starrer “True Lies”.
