Eve Hewson will play Maid Marian in Lionsgate’s “Robin Hood: Origins”.
Hawson joins star Taron Egerton as the titular character in the film that is described as a gritty, revisionist take on the legend.
In the film “Robin Hood returns from fighting in The Crusades and finds that Sherwood Forest is rife with corruption and evil. He forms a band of outlaws and they take matters into their own hands.”
Otto Bathurst is directing the film with production set to kick off next summer.
