Exclusive : Liam Hemsworth to star in Timeless for director Phillip Noyce

Hearing today that up-and-comer Liam Hemsworth (“The Hunger Games”, “The Last Song”:) – who, quick side note, calls home to a fort not too far from where I’m posting from – is in negotiations to play the lead role in director Phillip Noyce’s next film, “Timeless”.

The love story, from Relativity and producer Sunil Perkash (“Salt”), would star Hemsworth as a young man who, haunted by unresolved issues between himself and his late wife, uses the money his wife left him to build a time-travel device so he can see her a final time.

Sounds like an absolutely beautiful flick. Script was penned by “Enchanted” scribe Bill Kelly.

It’s been a big couple of years for both Hemsworth boys – Chris, of course, is playing Thor, while Liam has two big flicks on the way for 2012, “Hunger Games” and “The Expendables 2”.
