Sly Stallone has shared the first official pic from “Rocky” spin-off “Creed”, via his Instagram.
The shot shows Stallone’s Rocky Balboa training young Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan), son of the late Apollo Creed. Johnson heads to Philadelphia to track down the famous upstart who took down his famous father (who he never knew), to see if he can’t assist him in his journey into the sport. Rumour has it that Rocky’s not doing so well these days (might be the big guy be on the verge of swinging his last punch?) but he agrees to train Johnson.
Ryan Coogler directs the film, which also stars Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, and Anthony Bellew.
“Creed” opens November 25.
