Caffeinated Clint
A short teaser for the next-big-thing-to-happen-to-TV, Michael Mann and David Milch’s “Luck” has come online. The behind-the-scenes promo, our first look at HBO’s fall offering, has Mann and Milch kissing up to the camera and discussing the world of horseracing, which the series centers around, and the show’s bravura cast, headlined by Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte.
As a huge fan of Hoffman but predominately Mann (“Manhunter” and “Heat” are two of my favourite films) and Milch (“Deadwood” was sublime), I await “Luck” like a tax refund.
