First official image from Vacation

The first image from New Line’s “Vacation” reboot has been released.

The shot shows stars Ed Helms and Christina Applegate with Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo, reprising their roles from the original quadrilogy of films.

Leslie Mann, Chris Hemsworth, Charlie Day,Elizabeth Gillies, Michael Pena, Regina King, Nick Kroll, Samm Levine, Keegan Michael-Kay, and Kevin J O’Connor also feature in the July 31st release.

A recent test screening was held for the film and apparently it tested well. Some in attendance have told us that the film pays great respect to the original (many, many cameos and throwbacks), is an ‘R’ rated movie, for sure (because of the language and nudity), and is consistently funny. Only negative, apparently, is the lack of Chase and D’Angelo – their appearances are fleeting.
