20th Century Fox – never one to shy away from raping a classic – have announced plans to redo Otto Preminger’s classic colourless mystery “Laura”.
The Hollywood Reporter has one shiny spark of good news though, capable author-man James Ellroy is on script duty.
There’s no director onboard yet, so it’s obviously early days, but I do wonder what Fox are aiming for here. Seems strange that the idea to remake this one hasn’t even come up.
