Kelsey Grammer added to “Swing Vote” cast
Former “Frasier” star Kelsey Grammer looks set to cross over to the big screen – he had a smallish role in that De Niro/Burns thing “15 Mins” a few years back but I doubt anyone remembers the movie, let alone him – with a role in Kevin Costner’s next effort, “Swing Vote”.
Grammer, currently back on the box on “Back to You” , will play a Republican incumbent in the political comedy.
Written and directed by Joshua Michael Stern, the film tells of an apathetic working-class single dad (Costner) who’s thrust on the world stage when the presidential election comes down to his vote.
Also in the cast are Dennis Hopper, George Lopez, Nathan Lane, Stanley Tucci and newcomer Madeline Carrol.
