The vehicle’s in dire need of an oil, grease and top-up of coolant, but since it won’t be travelling too much further, it’s in OK shape for a final jaunt.
Talking of course about “Friends” the hit sitcom, that for ten years, has made us laugh, cry, bust-a-gust, awww, ahhhh, and add ‘How YOU doin?’ to our escapades at the Meat Market. Though still light years ahead of most sitcoms, season ten did prove that the well was getting a little dry – and that it probably was a good time for them to hang their keys back on the hook.
Season Ten isn’t without some super episodes though – there’s plenty (‘The One Where The Stripper Cries’ guest-starring Danny De Vito, is a highlight), and there’s a slew of familiar faces to help the gang out – including Anna Faris (something about this girl – she’s tastier than a frothy latte on a cold morning), Greg Kinnear, Christina Applegate and Selma Blair.
The end may be bittersweet, but it’s been a good run for “Friends”.
The DVD is just great – especially for fans. There’s a 45-minute gag reel, interviews and a lengthy behind-the-scenes doco, to name a but a couple of bonuses.
