Kevin Smith in talks for another comic book movie?
He couldn’t hack the pressure on “The Green Hornet”, and embarrassed everyone including himself with his stab at writing “Superman Lives” back in the day, so it’s interesting to hear that Kevin Smith might be helming the comic book movie “Supermax”.
Well, it sounds like he could be anyway.
Smith hasn’t directly come out and announced that the film he’s discussing in this interview with Slash Film is “Max” – which tells the story of an incarcerated Green Arrow; a character Smith loves and has written for in comic form – but it doesn’t take a sweaty undersexed Comic Con attendee to put two and two together.
Warner Brothers will develop the film, produced by ‘’Batman Begins’’ writer David Goyer.
