Christopher Walken makes $5 a day

in a new movie about con artists

Christopher Walken will join “Jurassic Park 3” star Alessandro Niovola for “Five Dollars a Day”, a road movie that pits a con artist against his more conservative son.

Says Variety, Walken will play a conman proud of living like a king on $5 a day, and Nivola his offspring, who had been jailed for one of his father’s crimes.

Nigel Cole (“Calendar Girls”) is directing based on a script by Neal and Tippi Dobrofsky.

The trade also mentions that Walken has a small role in the remake of “The Eye” opposite Jessica ‘Vroom Vroom’ Alba.
