From the writer of Transformers…. Dumbo!?

Disney is bringing one of its oldest tales back to life.
The studio is set to develop a live action film based on the 1941 animated classic “Dumbo”.
Ehren Kruger, who recently wrote the box office smash “Transformers: Age of Extinction”, will pen the script about a circus elephant with enormous ears who learns to fly.
Kruger will produce with Justin Springer.
“Dumbo” joins the likes of “Alice in Wonderland”, “Cinderella”, “The Jungle Book”, “Beauty and the Beast” and of course the recently released Angelina Jolie starer “Maleficent”, a “Sleeping Beauty” spinoff, on the list of animated classics that are receiving the live action treatment.
