50 Cent to star in new Drag-racing film
50 Cent will be behind the wheel for “Live Bet”, a new drag-racing actioner from Mexican filmmaker Alejandro Lozano, says Variety.
The film, which Lazno is re-writing with Tony Dalton, is a heist film script is set in the world of underground clubs and illegal car racing. Originally, the events in the script took place in New York, but it now adds several locations including Las Vegas and Philadelphia.
“We wanted to give the characters more soul,” Lozano told Daily Variety. “I didn’t want to make a film that just stayed an action film.”
50 – known to authorities as ‘Curtis Jackson’ – last appeared in the poorly-received “Home of the Brave”.
