The recently-announced “Ghostbusters” threequel and ‘Spider-Man’ spin-off “Morbius” starring Jared Leto and Matt Smith have been skedded for summer 2020 release dates by Sony.
The Jason Reitman-directed “Ghostbusters” film, which will likely feature the stars of the original 1984 film, will open on July 10th 2020, while “Morbius”, featuring Leto in the title role, will hit three weeks later on July 31st 2020.
Both films have no scheduled competition at this stage – that will change.
