Daniel Craig is in talks to star opposite Halle Berry in L.A Riots movie “Kings”, Deadline reports.
Deniz Gamze Erguven (“Mustang”) directs the independent drama set against the backdrop of the 1992 riots.
Craig would play a loner who lives in South Central Los Angeles and falls in love with Berry’s character. When the riots erupt, he will help Berry in protecting her children from the violence.
Craig and Berry, of course, have associations with the Bond franchise – he as the title character in the recent crop of films, and she as Jinx in “Die Another Day” opposite then-007 Pierce Brosnan.
