Halloween 3D resurrected!

A couple of days ago, our friends at Bloody Disgusting let slip from their bloody, punctured jaws that a new “Halloween” flick was again on the cards.

Though there’s no word on a director or writer for “Halloween 3D”, it’s worth noting that Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer had written a previous draft of the film – a couple of years back – so there’s a possibility their libretto may be the one still in use.

The official Halloween website today confirmed that a new “Halloween” movie is indeed in the works – but didn’t go into specifics.

As you know, we do not comment on rumors regarding a Halloween film in any stage of production no matter how accurate or inaccurate they may be. However, over the past few months, we have been flooded with ton(s) of emails, tweets, facebook postings etc… regarding the status of next installment.

“As we stated before, we are dedicated to the fans of the Halloween series just as much as we are dedicated to delivering a film that we believe the fans deserve and will, most importantly, love. With that being said, we can confirm that a new installment of Halloween is indeed in on track and moving forward. We are currently developing a script, to finally bring Michael back to the theaters!”

While Jamie Lee Curtis’s heroine likely won’t be back (Laurie Strode was killed-off in “Halloween Resurrection”) her brother Mike will be.

Axel Foley will be back March 25, 2016!
