Caffeinated Clint
Bobby Farrelly tells the Boston Herald that the casting search for “The Three Stooges” continues, but within three weeks he and brother Peter hope to announce their Larry, Moe & Curly.
Considering the project started out with the likes of Jim Carrey and Sean Penn attached, and is now considering far-less famous stars and even newcomers (Australia’s Shane Jacobson is said to be in the running), one might speculate that either the budget’s been severely slashed or the brothers have realized they’ll get themselves better ‘Stooges’ if they don’t box themselves into a corner by only aiming for the top guns. Could be a combo of both those things.
The Herald says the latest actors said to be in contention for the roles of Lary are :
Justin Timberlake
Larry David
Woody Harrelson
while someone’s wisely suggested this chap as Moe (ironically, Azaria voices ‘Moe’ on “The Simpsons”)
Hank Azaria
Again, there’s been so many names linked to this project that, even three weeks out from deciding on their cast, one simply can’t predict who’ll get the nod.
