So Harrison Ford is hardly in the new Blade Runner!?

Don’t expect Harrison Ford to be carrying the new “Blade Runner” movie – sounds like he has minimal screen time in the movie.

Ryan Gosling, who stars in Denis Villeneuve’s “Blade Runner 2049”, tells Fandango that they were filming the sci-fi sequel for months before the “Star Wars” star came to the set.

“I can say that we shot for many months before Harrison [Ford] arrived, and obviously there was a lot of anticipation as to when he would show up and how that would be, and it was just a relief. The second he got to set, he just rolled up his sleeves and we all just got to work. It was a real great pleasure to get to work with him.”

Assumingly, Gosling is the new lead of the movie and his character probably seeks out Ford’s Deckard character (from the original 1982 movie) in the back-half of the movie somewhere, for some reason or another. Whatever the case, sounds like Ford hasn’t got as big a role in the “Blade Runner” sequel as he did last year’s “Star Wars : The Force Awakens”. Don’t fret nostalgia nuts, Ford’s still a sure-thing to headline that fifth Indiana Jones movie.
