Heyman helps Webb Catch a Russian Spy

Mark Heyman (“Black Swan”, “The Skelton Twins”) will adapt “How to Catch a Russian Spy” for director Marc Webb and Fox, says The Hollywood Reporter.

An adaptation of the upcoming novel ‘How to Catch a Russian Spy: The True Story of an American Civilian Turned Double Agent’, it fixes on Naveed Jamali’s three-year experience as a double agent.

He spied on America for the Russians, trading thumb drives of sensitive technical data for envelopes of cash and selling out his own country — or so the Russians believed. But really, Jamali was a covert double agent working with the FBI.

Fox had hired “Amazing Spider-Man” director Marc Webb to direct the film in 2014.
