Horror faves group for Tales of Halloween

Barry Bostwick, Lin Shaye, and Greg Grunberg have joined the cast of the new horror anthology film “Tales of Halloween”, reports Deadline.

The Epic Pictures Group production features nine stories from the likes of Darren Lynn Bousman, Neil Marshall, and Lucky McKee.

A number of horror filmmakers are expected to cameo in the film including Joe Dante, John Landis, Mick Garris, Stuart Gordon, Adrienne Barbeau, and Adam Green.

Other actors involved include Pat Healy, “Twilight” alum Booboo Stewart, “Looper” actor Noah Segan, cult fave James Duval, and Sam Witwer of “Almost Human” and “Smallville”.

The ten segments take place in the same small American town whose denizens are terrorized by ghouls, aliens, and killers one Halloween night. Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, III and IV), Axelle Carolyn (Soulmate), Adam Gierasch (Night of the Demons), Andrew Kasch (Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy), Neil Marshall (The Descent), Lucky McKee (All Cheerleaders Die, The Woman), Mike Mendez (Big Ass Spider!), Dave Parker (The Hills Run Red), Ryan Schifrin (Abominable), John Skipp (Stay at Home Dad), and Paul Solet (Grace) are at the helm of Tales of Halloween, which follows in the footsteps of recent horror anthologies like V/H/S and The ABCs of Death.
