Hugh Grant was to replace Charlie Sheen on Two and-a-Half Men

Well that didn’t last long, did it?

I betcha your interest peaked too when you heard floppy-haired Hugh Grant was looking to replace Charlie Sheen over on “Two and-a-Half Men”, right?

Great idea…. might have even worked (though personally I don’t see the show surviving any longer than a season without it’s original drawcard).

Liz Hurley’s former bed bud was approached a few weeks back to replace Chuck – who, despite still being on a ‘winning’ streak, was fired and even after he begged for his job back, was sent away – on the top-rating sitcom. Up until this week it looked like a goer.

The “Four Weddings & A Funeral” star was apparently offered $1 million dollars an episode. The deal fell through. A scooper tells Deadline, “It was not the money. He didn’t want to do TV because those 24 episodes are a grind and a lot of work. At the end he couldn’t get his head around doing a series.” Another insider tells us that, if Grant committed, “the show could have gotten another 3 to 4 more seasons”.

So who else can they come up with? What’s Anson Williams doing these days?

The synopsis for Stallone’s Headshot though? That’s correct!
