Huisman, Palmer set for Currie’s 2:22

Michiel Huisman (“Wild”) will star opposite Teresa Palmer in the romantic thriller ”2:22”. Principal photography is set to commence on February 2 in Sydney.

Sam Reid (“Belle”) joins the duo in the film which will be shot on location at Fox Studios in Sydney and in New York City.

Lightstream Picture’s Paul Currie (”One Perfect Day”) will direct the picture, which is based on an original screenplay by Todd Stein with Currie co-writing.

In ”2:22”, Huisman will play Dylan Branson, a man whose life is permanently derailed when an ominous pattern of events repeats itself in exactly the same manner every day, ending at precisely 2:22pm. When he falls for Sarah (Palmer), a beautiful woman whose life is threatened by these strange events, Dylan must solve the mystery of 2:22 to preserve a love whose second chance has finally come.

“I’m just thrilled for Michiel and Teresa to be headlining our terrific cast. They are such an exciting and compelling combination – two wonderful actors who are able to play the charm, sophistication and emotional depth required to bring this wonderful story to life,” said director Currie.
