Indiana Jones 5 delayed a full year!

Disney also pushes back “Thor”, “Doctor Strange”, “Black Panther” and more!

Disney is pushing the fifth “Indiana Jones” movie back from July 29, 2022 to June 30, 2023.

Starring Harrison Ford, and directed by James Mangold, the highly-anticipated sequel is currently filming in the UK with actor Mads Mikkelsen playing the rogue in what’s rumoured to be a time-travel yarn.

The mouse factory has also shifted a few of its other films – likely because of the confidence they have in the new “Eternals” movie, which screened for press this week, and “Spider-Man : No Way Home”, which is chalking up to be one of the biggest films of the Christmas period.

Sam Raimi-directed “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” will open May 6 instead of opening on March 25, 2022.

“Thor : Love and Thunder”, originally due to open May 6, will now open July 8, 2022.

The “Black Panther” sequel will now move out of the summer and to November 11, 2022.

Nia DaCosta’s “The Marvels” is now moving from November 11 to February 17, 2023, “Ant-Man and the Wasp : Quantumania” is releasing July 28, 2023, and an untitled Marvel movie is shifting from July 4, 2023 to October 6, 2023.
