Indy’s kid, the Last Man?

LaBeouf expresses interest in Vaughan comic

Future son of Indiana Jones (he recently joined the cast of the fourth installment) Shia LaBeouf has expressed interest in starring in an cinematic adaptation of Brian K. Vaughan’s Vertigo comic “Y: The Last Man”, according to JoBlo.com.

The young actor, currently packin’ ‘em in with “Disturbia”, reportedly thinks its one of the finest comics around – and would gladly donate his acting services to such a project.

The comics – published by the same crowd that releases the “Hellblazer” (or ‘Constantine’) comics – are about the sole surviving male human after the spontaneous, simultaneous death of every male mammal on Earth.

In 2006, New Line snapped up the rights to the title and tapped Vaughan to adapt the screenplay.

Since LaBeouf’s a Paramount boy – judging by his recent crop of piccies – it’ll be interesting to see whether New Line take this bit of knowledge and try and snag him for this beauty?
