The “Halloween” guessing game continues
Update : As you may have heard, Rob Zombie has decided to delay “Halloween” and work again on the script. I wonder whether this has anything to do with the rather negative script review that AICN had up? Anyway, also heard from an actor who tells me that the role of Laurie hadn’t been cast of last week. He explains : A friend of mine (Disney Channel alumni) tested for the role about a week ago. She had said it went well, but hasn’t said anything more regarding it. I’d guess there hasn’t been a actress cast for Laurie, especially considering the film going back to rewrite mode.”
He’s announced most of the other cast members, but still, “Halloween V 2.0” director Rob Zombie holds onto the ‘Laurie Strode’ role – as in, whose playing the kick-ass babysitter role – like Mrs Clint does a remote: with a tight grip.
Arrow in the Head have received an interesting rumour though, suggesting that “4400” actress Lindy Booth will be playing the role made famous by Jamie Lee Curtis in the 70s original.
Yeah, I dunno. Ya see, Lindy Booth has been linked to this project for years – even before Zombie was on board – with her name regularly appearing on the IMDB listing for the movie (hasn’t been up there for a while). Something tells me the scooper may have discovered some vintage news in his web cache somewhere.
Still, whose to say Zombie hasn’t hired Booth? He could’ve.
