It’s Hammer time

Armie Hammer, of “Nocturnal Animals” and “The Social Network” fame, and current vocal star of “Cars 3” has been cast in feature drama “Sorry to Bother You”. The Boots Riley-directed film is about a black telemarketer with self-esteem issues who finds business success, but in turn discovers the unjust practices of corporate overlords.

The film has producers Nina Yang Bongiovi and Forest Whitaker, and Kim Roth, Poppy Hanks, Michael Y. Chow, Michael K. Shen, Gus Deardoff, Phillip Engelhorn and Caroline Kaplan are attached to executive produce the project. “Sorry to Bother You” is set to begin filming later this month in Oakland, California.

Hammer will join the cast including Tessa Thompson, Lakeith Stanfield and Steven Yeun. We will next see his hotness, er I mean Armie, in “Call Me By Your Name”, to be released November 24th this year. He’s also set to appear in Stanley Tucci’s film “Final Portrait”, and then “Hotel Mumbai” next year.
