I’ve a Hunch Brolin’s going to be working with Burton soon

Tim Burton could be bringing another classic before-bed yarn to the big screen, according to Heat Vision.

The “Alice in Wonderland” helmer is being courted for Warners’ “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”, with Josh Brolin set to play Quasimodo.

Kieran and Michele Mulroney wrote the script for the flick, adapted from Victor Hugo’s 1831 novel about a gypsy girl that is framed for murder and only the deformed bellringer of Notre Dame can prove her innocence.

Brolin, of course, would be terrific in the the title role. Burton’s been very hit or miss lately but from the outset “Hunchback” does seem like a good fit; in fact, some might say he’s already made this movie – “Edward Scissorhands”.

Burton’s next flick is “Dark Shadows” with, of course, Johnny Depp.
