“Deadpool 2” is set for release next year, and a new villain has just been cast. Jack Kesy, best know for his role as goth rock star Gabriel Bolivar on “The Strain”, has been cast as a villain in the upcoming movie, but that role is yet to be announced.
According to Deadline, the unknown role could be Black Tom, who in the comics is a nemesis in the X-Men universe who can project energy through plant life. However this is just speculation at this stage, as no official announcements have been made.
My thoughts are that he could just use his role from “The Strain”, unchanged. Seriously, he looks scary enough as it is:
Kesy joins the cast of Ryan Reynolds as title character Deadpool, Morena Baccarin as Deadpool’s Mrs Vanessa, Josh Brolin as Cable, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Stefan Kapacic as Colossus, and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
The film is set for a June 1, 2018 release.
