James Franco, recently seen in Hulu’s “11.22.63”, is set for another Stephen King adaptation, says Deadline.
The actor will star in and produce a film based on King’s short story “Drunken Fireworks” for Rabbit Bandini Productions and Rubicon Entertainment.
Screenwriter Matt Rager, who wrote Franco’s “Sound and the Fury” and “As I Lay Dying”, reunites with the actor here.
No director is attached to helm the story of a mechanic (Franco) and an ex-mob boss who participate in a Fourth of July fireworks comp.
