Jennifer Connelly reunites with Goldsman, Crowe for Winter’s Tale

Jennifer Connelly is in talks to reunite with scriptwriter Akiva Goldsman of “A Beautiful Mind” fame in his directorial debut on “Winter’s Tale”, according to Deadline.com.

Colin Farrell and Downton Abbey’s Jessica Brown Findlay have also signed on to star in the film.

The Warner Bros film is based on the novel by Mark Helprin and tells the story of a dying woman (Findlay) who falls in love with a thief (Farrell) who breaks into her luxurious home on Manhattan’s West Side.

Connelly is currently in talks to play the girl’s mother.

Connelly’s “A Beautiful Mind” and “Noah” co-star Russell Crowe is also involved in the project, as well as William Hurt, Will Smith, Matt Bomer, Lucy Griffiths and Eva Marie Saint.
