“Peacemaker” star John Cena has signed to headline Warner Bros Looney Tunes animated hybrid pic “Coyote vs. Acme”.
Cena, who also starred in “Fast & Furious 7”, “Daddy’s Home 2” and “Bumblebee”,factors into a scenario that involves Wile E. Coyote hiring a lawyer to sue the ACME corporation after one too many ACME products fail him one too many times in his dogged pursuit of the Roadrunner. The case pits Wile E. and his lawyer against the latter’s intimidating former boss (Cena), but a growing friendship between man and cartoon stokes their determination to win.
Cena’s “Peacemaker” colleague James Gunn is producing the film, which Dave Green will direct.
