“Star Wars” and “Mission : Impossible” alum Keri Russell will star in new Netflix series “The Diplomat”.
The 8-ep political thriller will see the former “The Americans” star play a career diplomat who lands a high-profile job she’s unsuited for in the midst of an international crisis, creating tectonic implications for her marriage and her political future.
Russell last appeared in the horror film “Antlers”.
The series is created by Debora Cahn.
