John Wick, 22 Jump Street helmers up for DC movies?

“John Wick” directors Chad Stahelski and David Leith are apparently hot on Warner’s must-get list to direct an upcoming superhero film. The report comes from reputable scooper El Mayimbe, but doesn’t state what movie the studio might want the up-and-coming duo for; there’s actually quite a few possibilities here – “Green Lantern”, “The Flash”, “Aquaman”, “Shazam”. It could also be “Red Hood”, which the studio is said to be developing.

Another directing unit that Warner/DC are very interested in obtaining for one of their future comic book movies is “Jump Street” twosome Chris Miller and Phil Lord. They worked on “The Lego Movie” for Warners. El Mayimbe had the scoop on this one, too – but as opposed to the previous duo, believes this duo is wanted specifically for the feature film version of “The Flash”. They’re also apparently wanted for the next “Ghostbusters” movie – the one to follow Paul Feig’s all-female take – which will star Channing Tatum. It’s possible they can do both, maybe?
