Josh Gad – the man behind the voice of “Frozen” character Olaf – has joined the cast of Disney’s live-action “Beauty and the Beast”.
Gad will play Lefou, Gaston’s buffoonish sidekick. Luke Evans plays Gaston opposite Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as the Beast.
Bill Condon will helm the modern adaptation of Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont’s fairytale which is well-known for Disney’s 1991 animated version.
Stephen Chbosky penned the script. Producers are Mandeville Films’ David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman.
