Finally, what all Bond fans have been waiting for- Bond 23 has been given the go-ahead to start filming in November.
In a chat with The Express, the lovely Dame Judi Dench – who will reprise her role as M for the 7th time – gave away the top-secret starting date for the yet-to-be-titled flick.
She said: “I am going to do the next Bond in November. I don’t know the location yet but hopefully it will be somewhere nice. I can’t tell you much more but I do enjoy playing M as she is such a strong character. I like being bossy and my grandson thinks its cool that I’m in Bond.”
There were concerns the future of the franchise may have been in doubt after the production company MGM went bankrupt last year, but the project was given the green light in January with Sam Mendes signing on to direct. Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem have been rumoured as villains.
Bond’s 23rd jaunt is roughly down for a release in December 2012.
