Julianne Moore has exited drama “Can You Ever Forgive Me” due to creative differences, reports Variety.
Nicole Holofcener is directing the Fox Searchlight film which was set to go into production next in a week or so. Execs are already looking into a replacement for Moore.
Chris O’Dowd is attached to star with Anne Carey producing.
“Can You Ever Forgive Me” is based on the 2008 memoir by journalist Lee Israel, who began forging and selling letters from deceased writers and actors when she fell on hard times in 1992. The forgeries soon began to raise suspicion so Israel begun stealing the actual letters from library archives.
