Jump Street duo writing The Flash

A couple of days ago, the internet let us know that Warner Bros could be keen on “21 Jump Street” helmers Phil Lord and Chris Miller for their movie based on DC Comics’ “The Flash”.

Deadline‘s now adding to that report, claiming the duo – who worked with the studio on “The Lego Movie” – are writing a treatment the film.

No word on what approach the writing/directing duo would take on the movie. Though “The Flash” hasn’t been a live-action feature film, the character has featured in his own series – twice.

While the duo haven’t decided on their next movie, they are involved in future installments of “The Lego Movie” (and it’s spin-offs) and are toying with the idea of doing a third “Jump Street”. But it’s possible that “The Flash” might be their next top priority.
