Kenny’s Shane Jacobson may be a Stooge! (Updated!)

Update! : Peter Farrelly has debunked rumours that Johnny Knoxville, Andy Samberg and Shane Jacobson are the frontrunners for the “Three Stooges” film. According to Farrelly, talking to EW, the roles are still wide open. “You don’t want people to think ‘they already cast that thing,’ because we haven’t….It’s wide open to everybody.”

Aussie actor Shane Jacobson, best known for playing toilet technician ‘Kenny’ in the hit film of the same name, is one of three actors rumoured for roles in Bobby & Peter Farrelly’s “Three Stooges” movie.

Jacobson, seen recently opposite Paul Hogan in “Charlie & Boots”, would play Curly opposite Johnny Knoxville as Moe and Andy Samberg (“Saturday Night Live”) as Larry, says The Wrap.

Those previously up for roles in the film – which has been on the cards for the better part of a decade now – include Jim Carrey and Sean Penn, both whom disattached themselves from the project after umpteen roadblocks.
