Rogen and Banks make a “Porno”
Now this is a teaming…. Kevin Smith (smutty but funny filmmaker) and Seth Rogen (smutty but funny actor).
The man behind the mostly-mute Silent Bob has recruited the man behind the impregnating Ben Stone to star in his new movie “Zack & Miri Make a Porno” Rogen (“Knocked Up”, “Superbad”) will play the titular Zack, says Variety.
Elizabeth Banks, who played the nymphette who likes to take soapy baths in “The 40 Year-Old Vigin” (co-starring Rogen), will play Miri.
The Weinstein flick revolves around two lifelong platonic friends who are deep in debt and enlist the help of their friends to make a porn pic for some quick cash. But Zack and Miri realize that they may have more feelings for each other than they previously thought.
This should be good…. Even if it does sound like Smith’s stealing all of Judd Apatow’s team in the hope that he can make something half-as-good as “Knocked Up” or “Superbad”.
