CBS has given Kevin James’ new comedy project a 13-episode series production commitment for the 2016-17 season.
James, Rock Reuben and Bruce Helford are writing the script about a retired cop (James) who looks forward to spending more time with his wife and three kids, only to find himself in more trouble than he faced on the streets.
Helford will serve as showrunner and exec producer with Reuben, James and Jeff Sussman.
