Laurie Strode on Lead Guitar!

Michael Myers’ little sister, Scout Taylor-Compton (“Halloween”), has been cast as Lita Ford in the Joan Jett biopic “The Runaways”, according to Variety.

The pic, which stars “Twilight” cutie Kristen Stewart as Jett, is based on the true story of the all-girl punk band in the 1970s.

Lita Ford (Compton) was the lead guitarist for ‘The Runaways’. After the group folded in 1979, Ford began a fairly successful solo career.

Writer/director Floria Sigismondi’s pic is already lensing in Los Angeles.
